North Vancouver Museum and Archives

Theme: Museum and Cultural Education

Location(s): North and West Vancouver

The Museum and Archives of North Vancouver work together to share the fascinating stories of our community and encourage visitors to participate in the research and dialogue about North Vancouver’s past, present, and future. The secondary level placements will focus on curriculum development for a digital school program using Archival materials demonstrating the evidence of climate change on the North Shore. Both elementary placements, will contribute to the development of placed based walking experience education kits for various neighbourhoods throughout North Vancouver. All teacher candidates will have the opportunity to work with a strong team of Museum Educators, including our Indigenous Cultural Programmer, and our Archivist, Dr. Jessica Bushy.
