This opportunity is unique and provides you with invaluable experience being a part of developing, implementing, and evaluating the PHE Canada National Conference in Charlottetown, PEI from April 29th-May 2nd 2020. This is an annual event brings together academic researchers, physical educators, and post-graduate students for a 4-day conference that explores innovative research and practices within the physical and health education sector.
Prior to the conference, you will support in areas such as reviewing the conference program, developing social media, preparing communications, and other logistical details related to the even preparation. Upon arrival in Charlottetown, you will have multiple roles and responsibilities, including (but not limited to) social media communications, data collection, technical support aid, registration desk, and overall event support. Once the conference is over, you will support with the creation, distribution, and analysis of various surveys about the conference, along with supporting other post-conference projects. For the pre- and post- portion of the conference, you can choose to join the PHE Canada team at the National Office in the National Office in Ottawa, ON, or you may choose to work remotely. If you choose to come to Ottawa, you are responsible for travel and accommodations.
This experience will provide you with the opportunity to enhance your professional network, develop your event management experience, and experience a variety of research and practical presentations by leaders in the field.

The Physical and Health Education National Conference is located in Charlottetown, PEI in 2020. You are responsible for your own travel expenses to and from the conference. Some snacks/meals/lunches will be provided at the conference but at other times you will be responsible for their own meals.
